So, this is the boring post to most other people, but good for us. We have been getting some things done on the house. It was nice to finally get it all done, since we have been working on it since moving in. First we got some insulation blown in the walls (yes, the walls were completely hollow before-lovely in a New England winter).
Then we got a new heating system. This is our old oil tank getting yanked. They had to saw it in half to get it out of the basement. The guys were cursing as they were trying to get it out. They joked that the house must have been built around it. Needless to say, we are glad to be rid of it and have more space in our basement.
