Aunt Sharon Visits
This is Isaac's first passport photo. Do you think that he will look like this when he is five?
We love this face that he gives when waking up.
Happy family.

The first bottle...
Isaac tried out his first bottle on Sunday and it was a hit. It took a few tries, but once Aleks stopped cuddling him and had him facing him, he really went for it. A friend said that maybe he liked it because it was like looking in a mirror while he ate. It was a totally liberating moment.
He usually does not like getting into his car seat that much, but occasionally he has a good moment.
He is pretty cute when he cries...not that we aim to have him cry a lot, but it happens...

First Family Photo

As requested, here are some photos taken this evening with photo booth. Isaac had a hard time staying awake during the photo session. That is probably because he had just gotten back from a vigorous walk and was all worn out.
Isaac also enjoys his bouncy chair a lot that his Grandma and Grandpa Forsberg got him. He is typically mesmerized by the lights and sounds.
Another highlight are the funny faces he makes when getting burped and sleeping.

He's waking up...
So Isaac seems to be joining to world of the conscious more and more. His volume has increased and we see his lovely eyes more and more.
Now he gets two doses of tummy time each day. He seems uncertain about what to do during that time and often just opts for sleep.
He likes his dad a lot. Yesterday when Aleks came in from work, Sharon was holding him with his back to Aleks. Once he heard Aleks, he was straining really hard to see him and be facing him. Maybe he senses that he is a little clone of his father...

Two week check up
Isaac saw his doctor today for the first time. He did not enjoy it too much, but as usually, once the man-handling was over, he was totally calm and mellow. As suspected, he has been gaining weight well. He is now 6 lbs 15 ozs and 15.5 inches long. We are so proud.
He's arrived!
Isaac made his debut in the world February 26 at 5:23 pm. He was a lovely shade of purple and has since become a more lovely shade of yellow (though that is fading). He had two days in the hospital and was relieved to get out of there and away from poking, prodding and other nuisances to his sleeping and eating patterns.
